Today’s technological advances are made possible through the effective collaboration of different fields of science and engineering. At Decovi, we pride ourselves on being able to use the vast knowledge of our technical staff and our extensive experience in metalworking to help create innovative technological solutions. We design and produce parts of various sizes and complexities for micromotor manufacturers and OEMs in the field of mechatronics.
Mechatronics combines mechanical, electrical and computer engineering to create intelligent automated systems used in a variety of fields including manufacturing, robotics, automotive engineering, transportation and aviation, mining, packaging and telecommunications, as well as in highly advanced fields such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, the Internet of Things, bioengineering, etc. Engineers and companies in these fields are constantly looking for cutting-edge solutions, and they often call on our services to accompany them from prototyping to mass production.
Our state-of-the-art CNC machine park, including lathes and multi-axis milling machines, controlled by our highly qualified engineers, allows us to manufacture very complex parts with dimensions and tolerances of a few microns. Our products are characterized by extraordinary precision according to our customers’ designs and extremely tight tolerances. The ability to produce large volumes in dimensions ranging from a few mm to 65 mm, semi or fully assembled, makes us very competitive in the production and supply of components for micromotors and mechatronics. Apart from the shaft, we are able to make all metal components for micromotors.
In principle, micromotors do not exceed an external diameter of 70 mm, so they require high precision parts with tolerances of a few microns. The micromotor parts we produce include the elements that make up the motor mechanism, such as bodies, flanges, adapters, transmission supports or gearboxes. These components are highly customizable, and we take care to follow specific designs in the smallest detail requested by our customers.
For the production of these components, we use a wide range of metals, most often stainless steel and aluminum, as well as copper alloys that offer high resistance to corrosion, temperature, stress and wear. Some projects require the use of highly chemical-resistant materials, especially for parts for machines and devices used in fields such as avionics, transportation and telecommunications.
